Introducing the New Purering for Families
Kanro Co., Ltd., a well-known Japanese candy brand, has released a revamped version of its popular Purering gummy series. The relaunch, effective from November 5, 2024, includes three variations: Purering, Purering Party Pack, and Purering Assort Pack. This update brings smaller, tooth-friendly gummies in gentle flavors, perfect for children and adults alike.
Enhancements for Kids’ Enjoyment
Originally launched in 2020, the Purering line was designed with a concept of "connecting from parent to child." Aiming to be an inclusive treat, it offers a milder sour taste and a smaller, ring-shaped design that’s easy for children to eat. This renewal introduces a new peach flavor alongside favorites like green apple and grape, enhancing variety for young tastebuds. Additionally, the gummies now feature a "smooth powder" to reduce sourness, while the texture has been modified to prevent sticking to teeth, further enhancing the product’s appeal for children.
Expanded Flavor Options
The updated lineup includes:
Purering: Available in three flavors (peach, green apple, and grape).
Purering Party Pack: Now offering six flavors—peach, kiwi, green apple, grape, strawberry, and mandarin orange—ideal for family sharing.
Purering Assort Pack: Features a random assortment of peach, green apple, and grape in small tetra packs.
Adding to the excitement, each pack may contain “lucky” rabbit-shaped gummies, giving children a fun surprise to discover as they enjoy the colorful treats.
Packaging Revamp with a Cute Animal Theme
The packaging has also been refreshed with a theme of “Adult Kawaii Animal World.” Each pack color represents different animal habitats, such as a deep red for the “Carnivores of the Land,” a soft pink for “Herbivores Blessed by the Earth,” and a salmon pink symbolizing “Small Creatures Hiding in the Vast Lands.” Adorable animal illustrations like lions, cheetahs, and giraffes add an educational and visual delight to each pack.
Fun Surprises for Kids
To add an interactive experience, each product has a unique feature. The back of the Purering and Party Pack packages includes an "animal encyclopedia" with interesting facts about each illustrated animal. The base of the Party Pack even offers a hidden safari-themed scene, encouraging kids to explore and engage with the package.
The Assort Pack provides a different adventure: children can cut out food illustrations on the packaging and “feed” the depicted animals. This imaginative play not only entertains but also encourages curiosity and learning.
